Welcome to Oppenheimer, an exciting and challenging game developed using the SFML C++ library. In this game, bombs of various types descend from above, and your objective is to neutralize these explosives before they hit the ground. With a swift and accurate click, you can trigger a detonation, clearing the threat and earning points.
Gameplay
- Objective: Click on falling bombs to detonate them before they reach the ground
- Bomb Types: Multiple bomb varieties with different behaviors and point values
- Scoring: Earn points for each successful detonation
- Difficulty: Increases over time with faster and more frequent bombs
- Lives: Limited lives - game over when bombs hit the ground too many times

What I Learned
This academic project gave me practical experience with C++ beyond the language syntax. I learned how the C++ compilation and linking process works, including how source files are compiled and how the linker combines object files and libraries into the final executable. I also gained hands-on experience applying object-oriented programming concepts such as classes, encapsulation, inheritance, and composition while structuring the game’s systems and entities.
